Just up the road from the Plume is the Royal Standard in the adjacent village called Gerrans. In reality these two villages do join. The Royal Standard is another traditional pub offering good pub grub and local Cornish ales from the St Austell Brewery. The pub is located just down from a campsite making it perfect if you're on a camping holiday!
The standard serves lunches and dinners, but again does close between 3pm and 6pm.
